Forgive me for being so ignorant of medicine, but how can a man have a "cervical strain"? Isn't that only part of a woman's anatomy?

"Cervical" means "pertaining to the neck." The reason they call the cervix the cervix is that it's the narrow 'neck' of the uterus.
