Overheard at the law school

You know you're in law school when you're walking through the snack bar and overhear the following snippet of conversation:

"...and you know that 'manslaughter' is just 'man's laughter'..."

I'd never thought of that.


You should read the Spider Robinson story, "Involuntary Man's Laughter." A classic tale from Callahan's Crosstime Saloon.

Never having read Spider Robinson is why I don't yet consider myself culturally literate.

He's definitely on my list...
